Well where do you start except with the price of $3000 per day approx. what do you expect? I expect a luxury room, heated pool, fabulous food!

The Homestead had fantastic staff in the main and great wine options but that’s where it stopped for me.

The pool was not used by anyone while we were there as water was so cold! The rooms were not at a luxury level! Small single sink suite with no bench top. Toilet kept running for ages after using it! Bed was okay!

The food! Some great mostly mediocre. Breakfast was okay but not brilliant. Lunch was usually good but a lot of fish with very boring uncooked desserts with ice cream or sorbet served with cut up fruit. Dinner had entrees mains and desserts. Entrees okay mains usually not at gourmet level and served Luke warm. Lamb one night was tough! Also because I had said I don’t eat octopus when it was served as a main I got a slice of pumpkin instead. I am not vegan or vegetarian and this is a poor substitute! The desserts again were not cooked usually and the ever present ice cream or sorbets appeared at every meal. No good enough!

There are no TVs in the rooms, no massages, beauty treatments etc so not much to do on down days.

There are very few options for snacks with fruit kept somewhere so you have to ask for it.

On the first day you arrive at 12 noon and lunch is not included that day. So why do we get there at that time. It’s and hour and a half from Kununurra so no options there and no options here for lunch.

I found it not to be luxury at all and for the cost would say you can do a lot better. You are paying to see nature that the owners did not make and not for what The owners should be providing. I was extremely disappointed in the food in particular.

We only did a day tour we went to Emma Gorge and Zebadee Springs and cruise on the Chamberlain River. The tour was fantastic and love the day. Phil our guide was great very knowledgeable. The resort I thought would have been more exclusive but it looked like any other camp site. I was a bit disappointed didn't come up to what I had imagined. However I was only there a short time.
We had lunch at the steak house which was lovely. The fish was cooked to perfection.

Had a great time . Great facilities. The rooms were fairly basic but clean.
The only comment I may have is to consider a non smoking policy on the grounds or a designated area for smoking - our neighbours were smoking and our room was filled by the cigarette smell ! It's rather unpleasant for families with young children!

We had tented accommodation which turned out to be great. The downside for us was that we didn’t have a vehicle and although we tried to book tours ahead, there was practically nothing available to us on arrival. Thankfully we received outstanding service from both Bonny in the admin who was most helpful in getting us on tours, and Todd who transported us and was also a knowledgeable and thoughtful guide. Great low key service from most of the other staff but these two in particular went beyond what was expected to make our stay much more relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you so much.

Great spot. Fun atmosphere. Had a bar and a Cantina. Could do with a couple more food offerings but happy hour was wonderful and so was the live music!
Wonderful place to explore all the local gorges and water features. Friendly staff (doing a great job although understaffed!) and would recommend
